LEAVE THE SEAT THE WAY YOU FOUND IT! Seriously, I promise it isn't that hard.

I do agree that women should leave your thrown the way you like it at your place but when you are visiting a girls place or if you just want to be accommodating do it her way. The seriousness of leaving both seats up is much more serious than one lid down.

Imagine this: You have to use the bathroom REALLY, REALLY bad and you only have a few seconds to spare. We've all been there right. There are two outcomes usually:

• You notice the seat isn't the way you need it and now those few precious seconds seem like minutes.
• You don't notice the seat isn't the way you need it so you sit (or fall in) before you can relieve yourself.

Of course there always seems to be option C. With this option, both seats are down instead of up and if you don't notice, you use the bathroom on top of the covering. Quite unpleasant.

So be aware of what someone is used to and try to be considerate so that you don't put them in a uncomfortable position.
